Optical Audio Cable Converter

When you buy a LED / LCD TV or blueray device, requiring an optical audio cable.

Optical audio cable is required so that the audio of the device above can be heard through your home theater or powered speakers that you have. However, not all home theater - let alone active speakers - has optical input. It required a digital converter altering the optical signal into an analog / RCA, so sound TV / Bluray can be routed through a stereo amplifier / AV receiver / active speakers for sound quality is definitely much better.

If your AV receiver has no optical input but has a coaxial input (like Figure 3), it can use coaxial cable to listen to audio.
